The Xbox 360 is Microsoft's successor to the original Xbox console, and is the first "next generation" games console to hit the market. It has three powerful core processors which pump out 720p/1080i HD output, full surround sound and DVD playback.

A great overall console. Superb graphics. The lack of HDMI output in non-Elite versions is not really a serious drawback. I use a 1080P LG LCD and image quality is fantastic. The XBox Live network is worth its "weight" in gold, it's the Xbox's biggest advantage over its competition.

I also own a Wii, which is a lot of fun due to its unique controller. But for serious gaming, nothing beats the Xbox.

This is a much larger improvement from the original. I was sketical about the xbox live experience. But I bit the bullet and tried it out with the 360. Very cool! The ability to download games on the fly is also an added bonus. Especially for those impulse urges for trying something different.

I feel a bit annoyed that the HD drive brings the price of the 360 to the same level as the PS3. Also that it is so bulky looking, why couln't they integrate the drive to replace the current drive? Such a waste.

Well I have some good news and some bad. I have a 360 But im on my 5th xbox 360. So as long as your luck is good, you will love it.

it doesn't upscale DVDs which is a shame, but other than that I can't fault it. Can't wait for Halo 3!

I agree about the quality of the console. But the problems Microsoft have had with supply have meant that a lot of game developers have held back their games. The range and quality of games available at the moment is not the best but hopefully will improve throughout the year.

I got hold of this the first week it came out and must admit that it is the best games console I have ever had. Not only are the graphics amazing in HD format, the dolby surround is realistic, and Microsoft have finally got it right when looking at their Xbox Live product. Buy this at once!
