Oh, man, does this one bring back the memories! Excellent.

And very poignant: the lyrics to 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' are about former band member Syd Barret, whose drug addictions made it pretty much impossible for him to function in the world.

It's really great and I love it. It was recorded even before I was born but it's still so perfect.

One of my favourite albums of all time. Few songs come as close to perfection as the title track -- which I have been known to listen to one repeat for hours on end.
