I've had one since Feb 2004 and it's great. It suits my photography in 95% of situations - the only limitations I'm beginning to hit now is with the burst write speed (and buffer size) when I take lots of action shots at rugby matches. Then I'm finding it doesn't always write to the card fast enough, and I miss a few tries!
But that's a special case, and most photographers would not be troubled by this situation very often.
