A solidly built camera with a 7.1 megapixel image sensor and a DIGIC II image processing engine. Aims for supplying good quality images from the camera even before importing them into software from your computer.
I have had this camera now for around 6 months and is much better than other Canon digitals I have used. The quality of most of the pics I have taken are extremely good.
Of all its fine features, what I appreciate the most about this little beauty is its fast shutter. As a relatively late convert from film to digital, my main niggle with most digital cameras is their infuriating shutter lag. But not this one. It's small enough to carry every day, sophisticated enough to cope with most conditions and seems to deliver great results. My other camera is a NIkon D70s. A whole different kettle of fish.
this camera is really great if you are outside. you can use it also if there is a lot of sun. a lot of cameras dont feature this and you can see nothing on the display.
My parents have this camera and while it is slightly bigger than the Sony T range - it takes really good quality photos, good build quality, and very easy to use.
Features are limited. Flash Light is poor.
