Yeah - the very early ones randomly shut down. But Apple quickly fixed mine and it is fine now. My understanding is that that problem has been fixed.

I love a few things about my new Macbook including the fact that I can have 20 browswer windows open simultaneously and the machine doesn't miss a beat. The thing I personally value the most is the screen. I love sitting outside using wireless connection and I can read my screen there - even in direct sunlight.

This is a crap product. Mine runs boiling hot. Randomly shut down until fixed. Terrible laptop.

I've got the black version of the MacBook, and it's fantastic. Excellent value compared to other laptops from the likes of Sony, Asus etc. I've maxxed out the RAM to 2GB's, which helps to keep things fine

Fantastic. Bought one for my 12 y.o. daughter schoolwork and it's now a family favourite - and all her friends who use it love it.

What a great computer- apparently they have now sorted out the initial switch off problems caused by excess heat.

I recently bough one and I absolutely adore it. This small piece of hightech hardware simply performs and has everything I need as a Unix admin.

Just got the black Macbook a few days ago and can only say I love it! Everything for work and play in a compact and elegant package. Who needs a PC anyway? ;-)

A cut down version of the Macbook Pro, comes in around £800 - well worth it!
